One-Stop Shop

The One Stop Shop is the primary intake point for land development, building permits, and most business licenses. It also serves as a primary payment location for all building and over-the-counter construction permits and most other City applications and licenses.

Food Licensing

The Department of Public Health enforces compliance with local, state, and federal regulations governing all types of food establishments through active inspection, surveillance, enforcement, licensing, and monitoring.

Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation

Certain professions, such as barbers and cosmetologists, require state-level licenses, which can be obtained through the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR).

Alcohol Licensing

The sale and use of alcoholic beverages in Texas are regulated by the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC). 

 

Texas State Environmental Compliance & Regulations

Businesses dealing with hazardous waste or pollution of the environment, water, or air are regulated by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. Permits, registrations, and licenses are required for these types of businesses.

Texas Health & Human Services manages the licensing, credentialing, and regulation for child care, nurse aides, nursing facility administrators, long-term care providers, and healthcare facilities.
