Permits & Licenses

Do you know what permits and licenses you need?

The City of El Paso’s Planning and Inspections Department, One-Stop Shop (OSS) Business Licensing Center, manages the issuance of most City business licenses and permits. Their team works to streamline the licensing and permitting process and provides guidance to help businesses meet local requirements.

This page provides a general overview of available services. Businesses operating within the City of El Paso city limits are required to obtain the appropriate licenses, as operating without proper licensing and/or permits may result in penalties. For full details, application steps and to apply, please visit the City of El Paso’s Planning and Inspections OSS landing page.
